Joel Forrest has been building custom saddles for over a decade. He has done everything from saddle repairs to building custom saddles to total restoration from adding trees to fixing broken horns.
He has studied saddle fit and the construction of hundreds of different styles of saddles over the years. He has seen saddles that have been built over a hundred years ago and admired the craftsmanship. Some of the craftsmanship and construction techniques are still used today because they have been proven to be some of the best and most well thought out processes of saddle assembly.
